No need to apologise for English in this journal! I grew up bilingual, but English isn't my mother tongue either, and I certainly know how difficult it is to find words sometimes when you know more than a language.
Fandom is still whining, but hey, as you said - fandom ALWAYS whines. They're not gonna stop anytime soon. The LE interview I was referring to... err, I have no transcript or link available, but I believe it was a part of the cast interviews that came out just before the episode (HL also had one). LE says something along the lines of Cuddy wanting to hold Wilson back for 'purely selfish' reasons.
I don't think Cuddy is entirely in the dark about how she feels about House (not romantically, though - I agree. ick). That they are also friends, and that he genuinely means a lot to her personally is something that we've had hints of since the Vogler arc, in 'Humpty Dumpty', explored openly later in the baby arc and afterwards... I think the show has done a fine job of showing her walking the balance between being his friend and being his boss, and sometimes making a mess of things.
