I was quite disappointed with the movie, in terms of plot. In Batman Begins he shot someone, and then he goes to "no guns", without any growth in between, which makes utterly no sense. It also felt that his true purpose in being Batman didn't really exist: he was supposed to fight corrupt cops and a broken justice system, but somehow it got swallowed in all those "look at these neat gadgets". Visually, Nolanverse might be suited, but writing wise, eh. I appreciate the boost in popularity (because more people reading comics!) but DC's strength has always been animation.
