Sister: (while reading Philip Pullman's Northern Lights) You know, Mrs. Coulter in my head looks just like Madeline. (adds thoughtfully)Only with a golden monkey.

It's an interesting mental image.

Whoa. She does in mine too, though I hadn't really realized. Not exactly like Madeline, but that's definitely where the mental image has its basis.
