Mind you, I really didn't experience this kind of nagging at all when I was in my twenties. Perhaps it was because I'm the youngest of six kids and none of them got married before they were thirty. It was only after I started dating my now-husband (when I was 28)that the coy "so, do you think you'll be getting married?" questions would start. After we got married, the "so, when do you think you'll be having kiddies?" questions started. But it was work colleagues and friends that asked, not family. I think my family knew me well enough to know that they would have gotten the replies of "don't know, don't really care, whenever" and "when hell freezes over" in quick succession, lol! *g*
I'm glad you made the best of the situation, though. When in doubt, head for the snack table.
