+ I spent two and half hours in class today discussing gay subtext in plays.

There was a very surreal moment when the prof, trying to get a rather taciturn girl to speak, pointed dramatically towards me and said: 'No, tell me what would be *your* happy ending of the play (Look Back in Anger). I know *her* (meaning, me) happy ending would be Alison and Helena going off together and leaving happily ever after.' I almost blurted, 'How did you know?', because yes, I *have* been slashing them together (and Jimmy/Cliff, who are so very gay. but I do heart Jimmy/Helena as well, and Jimmy/Alison/Helena) in my mind ever since I first read the play.

I think I'm in heaven.

Actually, I do know what you're talking about. Distractions? It's just so *stupid*. I mean yes, I know that scene was played for laughs, and I do find it funny. But it's also embarassing and even OOC. I'm tired of the 'Cuddy disagrees with House. House proves her wrong.' storylines. Any Cuddy is good for me, but how many times have we seen this already?

I just had the misfortune of visiting a House/Cameron comm - and god, the Cuddy hate. It burns. And the Lisa hate. I'm NEVER clicking on those newsletter links again without knowing where they have been posted. It's just... sometimes I really hate shippers, you know? Argh.

The spoiler was about a patient, and did not mention Cuddy at all. But considering the - er - nature of the patient, I would be extremely shocked if it doesn't deal with the baby plotline at all. And that's all I'm gonna say. *g*

I know! And I'm withering over here and *headdesking* very few seconds because it SUCKS. I want my Cuddy!worship back. I mean, I'm pretty sure I still do. But at the same time it's like... come on you guys. Give us a break. She's a hospital administrator - House may be special, but she didn't get that gig by being a push-over.

This is actually helping. 'Cause now I'm more pissed off at the writers for establishing such a wonderful character and then trying to screw her up, than I am frustrated with Cuddy herself. (Cause, you know, there's totally a difference)

Sometimes I think the writers are so obsessed with the Housisms they forget to develop everything else. The show revolves around House - therein lies the strength and the weakness of the show.

Actually, I'll probably whip out my handy-dandy sledge-hammer and correct a few brain malfunctions.

H/Cam shippers are usually the immature ones who are obsessed with that pairing and don't see anything outside their world. Which for their information, includes the fact that pointers - especially S3 - are pointing towards H/Cuddy.
