If I had my way
If I had my way, this would be the Sarah & Cameron Blow Things Up Show, with cameos from Derek and Charlie and Agent Ellison. John Connor could go and be broody and emo wherever he wanted, I don't really care. It would also, of course, not be cancelled, but that's a different story.
Samson and Delilah
+ Phenomenal, phenomenal opening sequence. EPIC. I have a feeling that the rest of the episode - while awesome - couldn't match up to the promise of the first sequence. And I do like that it's Shirley Manson singing the song, because it suddenly changes the gender equations and makes things ambiguous. John is Samson and Cameron is Delilah ('If I had my way, I'd burn the whole building down'); Cameron is Samson; Sarah is Samson.
+ Did John kill Sarkissian? While that explains the emo, I can't really feel much sympathy for him. Also, he needs to stop talking to his mother like that.
+ Or did Sarah kill Sarkissian? OMG.
+ Agent Ellison continues to rock my world.
+ Religious imagery; Cameron thinking of the Resurrection. I'm beginning to think Cameron overrode her program and was not fixed by John, echoing Shirley Manson's explanation re. the Turk being more than its programming.
+ Sarah may not have faith in God, but she certainly does have faith. She believes. She believed even when everyone else thought she was insane.
+ Sarah's futile gesture with the food, I just... *flails* She's so reserved, this Sarah, and more used to being John's commanding officer than his loving mother, but she's trying very hard, and that makes me so very proud of her. ♥♥♥
Automatic for the People
+ Not as Epic as the first one, but that's okay, because it had lots of Sarah. I do not want to watch the John Connor Chronicles. Or the Derek Connor Chronicles, for that matter.
+ Guh, Sarah's fear in the radiation room. And then later, when she just rushes in while Derek turns the other way. ♥
+ Cameron is 'thinking'.
+ 'Are you okay?', she says, pointing the gun at Cameron's chest. I HAVE NO WORDS. *flappy hands*
+ John is going to break that girl's heart, isn't he? Why must we be subjected to this?
+ Again, Sarah just allowing the sleepover. The overcompensation, it kills me.
+ Sarah can show her fear to Cameron. ♥♥
