Seeeeeker day!
+ The Mord'Sith Your Man Could Smell Like, a parody of the Old Spice advert (CARA IS ON A HORSE).
+ Seeker fandom had a Love Secrets post that made my heart grow three sizes. Why don't all my fandoms have these things? Humph.
+ AAAAND, the episode itself: Kahlan, ohmygod! She was so fabulous and vulnerable and brave! Bridget Regan nailed it, as usual. It was very traumatic, watching her be so vulnerable and CRY.
Of course she forgives him. It's what she does.
Fortunately, they let her and Richard be all happy and bouncy in the end, aww.
(Interesting parallels with Nicci there, BTW.)
+ Nicci made Polyjuice Potion with a strand of Kahlan's hair.
+ I love how Cara has pretty much taken over the responsibility for hunting. Do you think she was hunting wabbits?
+ The poor farmer and his wife, ACK. I LOLed when Nicci commented on Richard's lack of focus, but then there's the flipside: Richard saves innocent lives.
+ Okay, Richard/Nicci would be HOT. I'm just saying.
+ So if Nicci had had sex with that man, Kahlan would have felt the effects? That's, er, quite something. God, THIS SHOW.
+ Is it just me or was there a lot of cleavage in this episode? I mean, even more than usual, that is.
+ 'How long has it been?'
'Fifteen years.'
'Close family.'
'Cara!'
+ Ahaha, Nicci getting Kahlan drunk! There should have been more comedy with that.
+ BUT THE BEST THING ABOUT THIS EPISODE? (YES, EVEN BETTER THAN MY DARLING KAHLAN BEING A WOOBIE?) CARA TRYING TO TAAALK TO KAHLAN AND (INEPTLY) TAKE CARE OF HER ~EMOTIONAL NEEDS~ AND TOUCHING HER HAIR AND CUDDLING HER ON HER LAP.

It's, just. Their stories. Their parallel stories. And Cara recognises this and tries to counsel Kahlan and gives her HOPE. And Kahlan talks to her and apologises for snapping at her. The comforting. *FLAILY HANDS*

(On a more serious note, I want C/K fic with hand-tying and its complications. Because as much as I love the image of Cara tying Kahlan up, I also want to explore the messy side of it.)
