I haven't bothered with The Promise, but I might have to pick up The Search.

Zuko and Azula on a road trip to find their mother is just an amazing concept. And while Yang gets a lot of hate from the fandom for his writing, I think his grasp of the Fire Nation royals is really good so far. EXCITED.

I guess I'll check out The Promise as well now. I've read some of the one page things they did for the Nick mag, as companions of the show itself. It wasn't bad.

I am very, very emotionally invested in the Ursa plotline, so now I'm terrified they're going to do something with Azula that I will find traumatizing. And yet, if it really is what it looks like - Zuko, Azula and Aang in a life-changing trip to find Ursa - it's going to be awesome. Eeep.

My sister, meanwhile, saw this and announced that she hoped Azula was an evil mastermind again.

Yeah, I'm very invested in Azula's recovery and eventual relationship with Toph, so I'm worried this will be awful. But I'm open to just taking the bits I like and ignoring the rest.
