Funny, you'd think push is the easier option, but I think I instinctively pull open doors rather than push them. There's probably some psychological issue behind that.

I prefer to pull doors open; I naturally hold doors open for people, and it seems more natural when pulling them than pushing.

Around here, exterior doors are supposed to open towards the outside (pull to get in/push to get out) to make it simpler to exit a building in an emergency. Interior doors are supposed to open in line with the exit signs, for the same reason.

Though I have a liking for revolving doors.
