Ficlet: Brand New Day (Cuddy, gen)

It's hihoplastic's birthday today (for me, anyway. way past midnight), and I promised her Wilson/Cuddy (which has since morphed into House/Wilson/Cuddy) and… this is not it. Because while I *am* almost done with the first draft of the thing, it's nowhere near being postworthy. But I had to post *something* - so I have this. Random Cuddy ficlet, 745 words, based on the housefic50 prompt 'Beginnings', wherein nothing new or unusual happens. Unbeta'd; all crit welcome, as you know.
