Adventures

Phone: *rings*
Dad: *picks up*
Person on the other side: Your flight has been cancelled. You could either take our evening flight to Delhi, or ask for a refund.
Dad: *flips out*
Swatkat: Bwahahaha! I mean, oh dear, that sucks. *cannot stop giggling*
Dad: *still yelling over the phone*
Swatkat: Calm down, I'm booking another one.

It's done. Our new flight is at 6.30. However, I still have to wake up at 4 in the morning. This is not fair.

Talk about adventures. I'm still giggling. I'm keeping it to myself, though, because everyone else thinks I'm being too flippant.

Also, HATE THE TINY LOCKS!!!!

Gah! Airlines are horrible. They're just horrible.

Why don't they have any flights at normal times of the day?

*grins* I must confess I find evil pleasure when my mom or grandparents flip out. It is just so dang fun to watch... yes. I am a horrible person. *big white toothy grin*

You have my sympathies. 4 am. Airports do it on prupose. They just love to make you edgy so you argue with everyone. *nods*

Having just flown to and from, I have nothing but sympathy. On the way home we got to the airport the recommended 2 hours early to find no one in line in front of us at the baggage counter, and a totally empty security checkpoint, with a screener that actually smiled at our child's jokes (you tell a 12 y.o. that you really can't make jokes in the security line, and it's a guarantee that he'll retail all his political beliefs at top volume all the way through the airport). As we're sauntering to the gate with an hour to spare, we pass the adjacent security gate, packed full of sweaty, unhappy people. You never know what the gods have in store for you.

You must have made it to your destination by now! It all seems very exciting, a big move to a new place - hope you made it there all right and are settling in, safe and sound. Good luck!

I'm out of touch, I've missed everything, and only now checking in from my hotel room! What are you doing? Where are you going?

Are you there yet? *g*
