+ Leverage finale: SOPHIE! OMG, SOPHIE! She had a Plan! Tara was fun while she was around, but it's good to have Sophie back. MY TEAM IS TOGETHER AGAIN! Yes, yes, Nate got shot, whatever, I don't believe for a second that the next season will not open with the team stealing Nate back from the FBI.
Nate's final declaration, 'My name is Nathan Ford, and I'm a thief,' was a nice way to round off the season, highlighting Nate's journey. But I have a complaint: why is Nate the only one who gets any sort of a backstory? Of course it makes storytelling sense the season ended with him, but would it have been so hard to explore the other characters in the middle episodes? Who is Sophie? Why do we not know more about Hardison's Nana? Where did Parker learn her tricks? Who taught Eliot to hit people for a living? You are an ensemble show - USE YOUR ENSEMBLE! If a show as cracky and ridiculous as LoTS can regularly delve into everyone's backstories - even Zedd, who is neither young nor pretty; or Cara, who was just introduced a few episodes ago - why can't you?
This has also been my longstanding complaint with Merlin, but that's a rant for another day.
