* Tigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* OMG, Leoben is craaaaaaaaaaaazy. Please stop torturing Kara, TPTB.

* D'Anna Biers! I love her! I love the Cylons and their confusion and their faith.

* ADAMA! I love you. Thank you, for getting Lee back in shape and staying there. The scene where he says, 'It has been in an honour' - I was teary. Oh, Adama!

* Lee's fatsuit is ridiculous. How much do you love that the *show* calls him whiny instead of portraying him as this angsty manly man?

* ELLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To think I had disliked her at start. Oh, Ellen! Oh, Tigh!

* Gaeta. ♥ He has this uncanny similarity with a weird childhood friend of mine, with the curly hair and big, unblinking eyes, but thanks to the new hair the similarity is no longer disturbing and I can appreciate the pretty that is Gaeta.

* Baltar. You can die anytime now. This show hits all my bravery and responsibility and fighting against all odds kinks, and to have a character like him as the Eternally Lucky Plot Device (albeit well-written) is just... ARGH.

* Roslin/Zarek FTW.

Now you know why I love Ellen/Saul Tigh SOMUCHOMG! *Cries at how sad it all is*

Gaeta with the longer hair is just oooooh. Pretteh. And he's so brave but refusing to call attention to his bravery!

I am glad you like Roslin/Zarek, too. They really could rule the universe together if they cooperated long enough!

I haven't seeen any new BSG yet -

But I wanted to let you know I've finished all of Angel and am now wrapping up the last two seasons of Buffy.

I still love Cordelia, Lilah is awesome, alive or dead, Faith is intriguing, Darla is my undead evil hero and, seriously, Joss Whedon is a pretty damn cool guy. *g*

YAY!

And, of course, you *have* to watch BSG after this. So many fabulous women! The show is *dominated* by the women!

OMG Ellen and Tigh! *weeps*

OMG THE CYLONS! I've been watching more episodes (completely neglecting the three new House episodes also sent by my sister), and OMG THE CYLONS. It's as though the writers knew I would be watching the show and jonesing for MOAR CYLONS, and now we have MOAR CYLONS, and I love them SOMUCH!

I liked S4, but then, I'm easy when it's a show I've already bought into. *lol*

I wasn't especially keen on the Cordy owned by a different demon than the one she already is and no one noticed bit, but a) they were working around a RL pregnancy, and b) given that, I thought they did a pretty nice job of suggesting that her friends *did* notice her weirdness, but soo much weirdness was their life that who was to say that this weirdness was evil weirdness, or just, Cordy is a half demon recently back from a higher plane weirdness?

I did think the Jasmine story line was really interesting and effective, though - the face of evil through beauty and relief from pain. Nice contrast to the beast, and all the other generally more beastie baddies.

Connor, I'm not sure about - I don't think it was the writing, exactly, or the acting, exactly - but I never *quite* bought into the idea of Connor, if that makes any sense. I was faintly relieved when they wrote him out via happy family.

If what you're really asking is did I like Faith in S4, the answer is YES! I liked her very much. Even more than her earlier appearance on Angel, she was her own struggling real self and not merely Anti-Buffy.

Or, alternatively, did I like Cordy/Angel? Again, YES! Way more than I liked Buffy/Angel, to tell the truth. No matter how hot they were, I always found that, for me, Buffy/Angel had this creepy pedo element, even if Buffy was at least Angel's combat equal. Where Cordy, a) was in fact older by the time Angel is looking her over, and b) handled him way better, in ways I thought he was the better for. He made her a better person too. And certainly respected her a hella lot more than Zander did. And gah, what a shitty boyfriend he is.

I know that in the S5 commentaries Joss carried on and on about how Spike is Angel's true ingenue, but, well, possibly, but while I could certainly see their deep history, Spike is hardly a chaste virgin, and I've never really cared for ingenues anyway.

Which explains the Cordy love. ;-)

And, FWIW one disc into S6, I like older, more wary, more pissed off, more depressed Buffy.

Cordy/Angel doesn't really work for me - except in that one episode, 'You're Welcome'. *That* is Cordy/Angel I could do with. The rest of it, thought - not so much. Buffy/Angel OTOH... *sigh*

Because she has grown up! She was never merely anti-Buffy to me, but yes, grown-up!Faith is just *wonderful*. ♥ And now, of course, she has to go back to Sunnydale because there is unfinished business, and have I mentioned how much I love Buffy/Faith?

Spike/Angel is also love. He was an ingenue, once upon a time, when he was William and the Angelus and Darla and Drusilla corrupted him and made him William the Bloody. Fanged Four FTW!

I'm not opposed to Buffy/Angel, but it isn't a permanent thing for me. I think it was just a shade too much 'teen romance' for me to be all that emotionally invested in it. Especially with the creepy overtones, which yeah, they acknowledged and dealt with, but still.

I actually think my favorite of Buffy's boyfriends was Riley. I get the feeling that puts me in quite the small camp!

Like I said, Angelus/William works for me best, though I like Spike/William least when he's around Angel and best when he's with others.

Of course, my biggest problem with any m/m pairing is that there is no girl. Real girl. With actual girl bits and girl issues. Not a pretend girl.

I tried some (short) Angel/Spike and Angel/Lindsy - left me mostly meh. Then I tried them again, substituting one of the girls/women that seemed to fit the set up. And then? I thought they were pretty damn hot!

I'm so weird. ;-)
