I'm worried the grandparents will change their mind, or Cuddy will have a change of heart, though. The latter, especially, will be terrible.
You know, before this episode I wouldn't have a problem with Cuddy changing her mind after taking care of a foster baby, but they made the whole thing so... idk, "romantic", that there's no way they could pull it off now. Maybe it could be a combination of the two. That way Cuddy wouldn't be so devastated.
I do have mixed feelings on the whole baby issue. For the most part I'm all “if Cuddy wants it she should have it”, not because I adore and she should have everything, although that applies too, but because I can’t really blame or not understand somebody for having such a strong desire to become a parent. But there’s a little part of me that says that maybe Cuddy isn’t doing this for that reason or maybe , to use a theme from the show, “what she wants may not be what she needs”.
