That's certainly one part of it! Actually, that's how I made my peace with the baby plotline to begin with. Cuddy is awesome and I love her and what she wants she gets.
Which, of course, is not how the show works.
But there’s a little part of me that says that maybe Cuddy isn’t doing this for that reason or maybe , to use a theme from the show, “what she wants may not be what she needs”.
I'm worried about that, too, but 'Let Them Eat Cake' gave me hope that the 'what she wants' was a romantic romantic relationship with House, and not a child, which then qualifies as 'what she needs'.
