+ Have you all seen the latest House promo? Is it just me or is House shockingly well-dressed in that scene? It's pretty... but I prefer him rumpled. And hee, Chase. So adorable.

+ The last scene in The Honeymoon BREAKS MY HEART and makes me blabber things like 'come here you poor woobie darling', which is just wrong, because House isn't a woobie and any attempt to comfort him would result in a nervous breakdown...but. Poor woobie darling. *sobs*

+ WTF is up with this post linked by metafandom? I mean, what? I don't know Cassie Claire, and I've derived a lot of evil pleasure in reading the various wanks - but it's insane, blaming one.single.person for the 'state of the HP fandom'. The fandom is just fine.

+ Only some packing is left, which will be done shortly. Then I'll be done. There has been much commotion in the household over this ('You need [insert object here]!' 'I do? Well, if you say so'); some heated arguments with the sister over certain issues ('You're taking that earring? WHY?' 'Um, because it's mine?', and 'Just because I won't be here doesn't mean you get to touch my things'), and Dad freaking out because he's Fussy McFuss and Mr. Methodical, and I'm Miss Lazy Do It in the Last Moment Of Course Everything Will Be Fine. The plane is at 5.50 am tomorrow, and did I mention how SICK that is? Why could we not have a flight at a normal hour?

+ I hardly need to say this, but if there are flamewars/interesting insanity, pls to save the links for me. If there is fic you think I need to read, please please save the links for me. I'm not going away, merely... readjusting things a bit.

Adventures

Phone: *rings*
Dad: *picks up*
Person on the other side: Your flight has been cancelled. You could either take our evening flight to Delhi, or ask for a refund.
Dad: *flips out*
Swatkat: Bwahahaha! I mean, oh dear, that sucks. *cannot stop giggling*
Dad: *still yelling over the phone*
Swatkat: Calm down, I'm booking another one.

It's done. Our new flight is at 6.30. However, I still have to wake up at 4 in the morning. This is not fair.

Talk about adventures. I'm still giggling. I'm keeping it to myself, though, because everyone else thinks I'm being too flippant.

Also, HATE THE TINY LOCKS!!!!
