In the course of the pilot, I read a newspaper, a couple of fanfics and obsessively refreshed my LJ/DW reading lists. I kept watching only because some like-minded fans had told me I'd enjoy it, and then I did! By the time we reached 1.05, I was quite charmed. By the time we made it to 1.08, I was hooked. By the end of the season, I was COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY IN LOVE and DYING for more. And if that wasn't enough, they made Cara a regular and brought back Darken Rahl. Now I'm just a helpless babbling fangirl (why is it not Seeker Day yet?).
