Today was a beautiful Sunday. I did not get a single bit of work done, but do I care? NO, because today was Seeker day and my computer screen pretty much exploded into unicorns and rainbows.
Wait, that didn't come out right.
UNICORNS AND RAINBOWS
I won't even pretend at this point that I don't have an OTP on this show - which is very odd, coming from me - or that I wasn't DYING to watch this episode ever since Queen B. let it slip that it would happen, but this is seriously beyond my wildest expectations.
HUGGING AND HANDHOLDING
GUYS, HUGGING AND HANDHOLDING. DECLARATIONS OF FEELINGS. BIRTHDAY PARTIES. KAHLAN ASKING CARA TO HAVE FUN. SHORT JOKES. GIRLFIGHTS. KAHLAN WANTING TO BE BROUGHT BACK BY CARA (AGAIN) AND CARA DECLARING THAT SHE IS NOT WORTHY AND KAHLAN BEING SUPPORTIVE AND LOVING EVEN WHEN CARA IS BEING A SILLY GOOF AND TAKING IT ALL BACK IN THE MORNING AFTER. EVIL MUMMIES. HUGGING AND HANDHOLDING.

LOOK AT THEIR FACES.

THEIR HANDS. *FLAILS*

reallyally. she has EVEN MOAR)
How is this show even real?
Afterwards, I watched Dr. Who - which I seem to be watching now? - and was even more charmed than the previous episode. Charmed is the word, because I know very little about the show's very intimidating canon except what I've gleaned off the flist and
netgirl_y2k's Morgana is a Time Lord story, but here I seem to be in love with the Doctor and Amy Pond, and also all the other awesome characters (spaceships! the Queen!). It even made me (temporarily) forget about Cara and Kahlan, WHICH IS SAYING SOMETHING.
And now I must go eat dinner, because I forgot to eat earlier and now my stomach is making strange noises. BUT FLAIL WITH ME, FLIST. IT WAS A GREAT SUNDAY.
PS: Matt Smith reminds me a little bit of NPH. From some angles.
OH MY SHOW.
