+ CARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. This is the only - ONLY - episode where even Bridget Regan kissing people and being in Mortal Peril could not move me. In the course of the episode, I sent my sister MANY texts along the lines of, 'I JUST WANT RICHARD'S STUPID PLOT TO GO AWAY SO THAT WE CAN FOCUS ON CARA.' (She hasn't seen it yet, poor thing.)
+ OF COURSE THEY NEEDED AN UBERDILDO TO BREAK CARA. BECAUSE SHE IS THAT AWESOME.
+ I CRINGED SO HARD WHEN THE EVOL MAN TORTURED CARA.
+ OF COURSE KAHLAN IS THE FIRST PERSON CARA THINKS OF IN HER HAPPY PLACE. ALSO KAHLAN HELD HER HAAAAND WHEN SHE WAS SAD ABOUT HER MYSTERY SON AND MISSED CARA (I INTERPRETED 'IT'S EASY NOT TO KISS YOU WHEN THEY'RE AROUND' AS 'IT'S EASY NOT TO KISS YOU WHEN THEY'RE AROUND BECAUSE I CAN KISS CARA INSTEAD AND SHE'S BETTER AT IT ANYWAY'). And then Cara kicked Zedd before making out with Dahlia, and CARA AND KAHLAN MAKING OUT WHILE ZEDD SLEEPS IS TOTALLY CANON NOW. *delusional*
+ AND CARA/DAHLIA OMG, I SHIP IT SO HARD. She really loves Cara and is trying to save her from weakness! Kahlan is so going to kill her in the next episode, and it will be HEARTBREAKING.
+ Creepy Immortals Stone of Tears whatever. I was somewhat annoyed by Richard's 'we'll stay here and have baaaaabies' pep-talk - it's surprisingly selfish, coming from him, and while he is definitely allowed to be occasionally selfish, I found it generally annoying and was glad that Kahlan was not convinced at all.
+ WTF IS UP WITH THE PROMO? WHY IS RICHARD IN RAHL'S VEST? IS THAT CARA IN THE FUGLY PINK DRESS? WTF?

I LOVE THE WAY SHE IS QUIETLY POSSESSIVE.

ETA: + Lovely, thinky comment on the refreshing lack of tortureporn in this episode here. Even 'Denna', I think, was more torture porn-y than this episode, which is a good thing. I do not think I would have been able to take it if they had sexualized Rahl torturing Cara. This, and the refreshing genuineness of Cara/Dahlia MADE the episode for me.
Someday I'll catch up with the rest of my fandoms. Today is not that day.
