I have only recently discovered the show, and that too because of the sudden appearance of a morally ambiguous character who is evil and crazy but also misunderstood and sad. And a traveler in time. Oh, and she's actually H.G. Wells. Yes, the H.G.Wells, who wears steampunk jackets and has grappling guns she invented all by herself.
I've enjoyed what I've seen of the show so far, because it's ridiculously dorky sci-fi. The last episode I saw (before this one, that is) featured Simon and Kaylee and a plot involving a superhero's underwear and a resolution that required our heroine to dress up like a superhero. I'm yet to watch season one, though, so I guess I'll catch up sometime soon.
Which is basically a longwinded way of saying yes, you will probably enjoy it because you also like dorky sci-fi that makes you laugh, but I'm not entirely qualified to rec because I still haven't watched all of it, I was drawn in by the power of H.G.Wells and her epic romance with the female lead.
