swatkat'ZLOPP!' is the best sound effect ever.
Which is my way of saying, dear DC/WB, stop making boring GrimDarkMan movies and get on with that live-action Batgirl: Year One already. Or at least the animated feature.
Even Dick agrees.
Also, Steph's new Batgirlmobile aka 'The Compact'? Totally a homage to Batgirl's 'electronic Batgirl compact' in the Adam West show. I ♥ Bryan Q. Miller SO MUCH. <333
ETA: Speaking of comics, Birds of Prey #11 was fun. It felt like a breath of fresh air after all the action-action-action and no interaction whatsoever issues - Babs and Dinah actually acted like friends again, they were concerned about Helena, Helena got some nice character moments (especially with the cross, and her admission about belonging to that vast grey spectrum between black and white). I don't really like Catman - he's the only one in the Secret Six I don't like - so I don't have much to say about Huntress/Catman either; in fact, the revelation that he was trying to show he's unworthy of Huntress just made me roll my eyes (thank god for Deadshot and his acerbic commentary in the end. why couldn't Helena have a fling with Deadshot instead? or Scandal, I'd be totally on board the good ship Helena/Scandal Savage). Still. Good issue - it finally felt like the BoP I know and love after a long time.
Also, no Hawk and Dove + very competent art by Pere Perez. The more I see his art, the more I like him.
Oh, and the cross-continuity with Batgirl - that was awesome. ♥
