I've been re-watching Angel S3 - OMG so.much.love! This is the first Angel season I ever saw, so I have a weakness for it - despite the overdose of dork!Angel and Angel/Cordelia. Speaking of Angel/Cordelia, WTF were they *thinking*? I love Angel, I love Cordelia, and I believe that every ship can work if you know how to make them work - but *this*... *shakes head*
Cordy has more chemistry with Darla than she has with Angel (no, really. just watch Offspring). If they really did want a good canon het ship, couldn't they have kept Darla around a bit longer? *hearts Angel/Darla*
Also, Angel has the emotional maturity of twelve year old. Someone comes and tells him "ooh, Angel, you're in LOVE with X", and two minutes later he really has fallen for that person.
But the best thing about this season is Wesley. Apart from the fact that he looks incredibly *hot* this season, the whole Wesley arc (foreshadowed in Pylea. and I'd never noticed that until now) is simply amazing. I'm realising once more why Wesley was the first Angel character I fell in love with.
