To quote the Mask, "Somebody stop me." Because I cannot, cannot stop going to the TWOP forums, and they are full of stupid. Things I've learnt today?

a. House is an emo!cutter
b. House is an evil criminal.
c. House is a JUNKIE. JUNKIE, I'm telling you. What is this pain you speak of?
d. Wilson was, once upon a time, a light and fluffy and adorable bunny. Curse you, David Shore, for destroying him forever.
e. Cuddy is a doormat. And oh, she also doesn't know how to run the hospital. Because House *is* the entire hospital, don't you know?
f. Wilson and Cuddy have ABANDONED House. ABANDONED HIM. HE'S A POOR ABANDONED W00BIE.
g. This episode was full of Ham.

I keep going there, because there *are* sane people out there. Clever, sane people who say awesome things. But most of them - God. It's like watching a trainwreck, and I keep reading the threads, even though I have work to do and fic to finish.

I've pretty much sworn off the forums for that show, because of the knee-jerk reactions. In general, I avoid big fannish forums (the only exception is TWoP's X-files forum, which is awesome, though I didn't frequent it while the show was on the air).

I rarely go to TWOP because I find the pages always load really slowly for me, but now I'm glad I don't!

I watched the episode in question last night, and I think everyone's overreacting to the point of being truly silly. I enjoyed the ep quite a bit and thought it was a great opportunity for all of the cast to really stretch their acting chops.

The TWOP House recaps are actually very good (and I love that the recapper loves Cuddy). The only thing that annoys me is the emphasis on House's junkieness - I'm not sure how far she does it seriously, but the fen over there sure take it seriously.
