* You can claim fic and art prompts at
cuddy_fest now. GO CLAIM OR I'LL MAKE YOU.
* Meanwhile, a House S5 spoiler:
Apparently there's going to be this 'private investigator' in a multi-episode arc who investigates... something in PPTH? *Who*, if he turns out to be popular, may become the lead of some kind of a spin-off? I do not care about spin-offs of any sort, but my initial reaction to this spoiler is NO. NO. Haven't we had this investigating thing already? *shudders*
I'll keep my fingers crossed, but PLEASE NO TRITTER AGAIN PLEASE PLEASE TPTB. YOU ALREADY HAVE A HUGE CAST AND ARE STRUGGLING TO FIND SPACE FOR THEM ALL, SO JUST NO. PLEASE.
ETA: But, on the other hand, as
roga says - if it really is Sam Vimes (CRAZY AUS FTW), I will die happy. It could at least be a Houseverse version of Vimes (other than House, who already is Vimes)... OMG
There might be spoilers in comments.
* Fandom is full of insane misogynist asshats. I wish I didn't have to remind myself that everyday.
* I've *completely* forgotten what else I meant to write. *headdesk*

Date: 2008-06-15 07:18 pm (UTC)So if I actually see David Shore this week, how crazy on a scale of 1 to 17948 will I look if I bring this up?
Man, if Chase turns on House to sidekick Vimes, and Cuddy sleeps with him, House will lose it.

He will! So naturally it's the first thing Cuddy *will* do, now that House is all cured and his standard asshole self.
CHASE WILL BE THE BEST SIDEKICK EVER. AND KUTNER CAN BE JEALOUS.

Date: 2008-06-15 09:15 pm (UTC)Hmm, and I have a question, modly person. Do writers have to take all prompts literally? In other words, can the word "death" in a prompt be taken in a symbolic sense rather than a literal sense?

Hey, it's your prompt - what you do with it is up to you! As long as it fits, it doesn't really matter. (Actually, even if the story reads like it has nothing to do with the prompt, it's welcome, because sometimes we can't help ourselves, and what we're really about here is more Cuddyfic in fandom, period. The prompts are just there to get people started.) *g*
