It's so true. I guess in season one, she just had more attitude about it? She at least tried to get back at him a little bit (making him do the lecture in Three Stories, giving him students to shadow him in Histories, etc.)? I don't know. Medically, she's always let him get away with virtually everything because he's almost always right. One thing I really appreciate about Cuddy that I think a lot of people skip over - is despite the fact that she's an administrator, patient care has always been the bottom line for her.
And on top of that, Cuddy has been through a LOT in the past few seasons - Vogler, Tritter, her miscarriage, failed IVF, House almost dying at least three times - that's going to weigh on you. I love House and I love Wilson, but Cuddy's been through a lot of crap, too. But I don't think people get that. And it's sad.
