There are porcupines in our campus.
It's a foresty place, as you may remember me mention, and I've seen deer (especially of a particular kind, what you'd call the Indian bluebuck, or simply neel gai*), peacocks, rabbits, foxes, snakes; cows and dogs and cats, of course; other kinds of reptiles; a variety of birds. But PORCUPINES?
This is extraordinarily cool.
*neel gai = blue cow. the male neel gai is gray, with a tinge of blue; it also has a beard and a hump (which is why they're called 'cow', I think, even though they're actually a kind of deer). the female are brown with floppy ears.
