a year like none other
Dec. 31st, 2008 09:24 pmThree more hours till 2009. In retrospect, I will always look back on 2008 as a year of eventfulness, the best of times and the worst of times. There has been stress and drama and tears, and there has been joy and adventure and madness: a year of growing up, if you will.
Next year, though. Next year I want a little less whirlwind, a little more sanity. A lot more writing, doing things I want to do and doing things I should do and figuring things out for myself. Travelling. I have a few things planned: two trips to lovely seaside places with friends and family in January and February, for instance—if everything goes according to plan.
Here's looking forward to a year of lying in beaches (among other things).
