Oh, wow, seriously? Yeah. One cable channel actually ran a show entitled, "I was pregnant, and I didn't know it." It actually interviewed six or seven women who hadn't known they were pregnant until it was like "here comes the head" - or later in one case, where the woman pregnant with twins didn't realize she was pregnant until she delivered one. And in that same case, the most horrific part was that, when she went to the hospital, none of the doctors knew what was wrong until she had given birth to the first child. So... really, if it's possible for doctors to miss a woman pregnant with twins in labor, lol, this doesn't seem too unbelievable by comparison.

but what about afterwards? Well... if you think about it, women give birth without complications all of the time. She might have been tired, but that could have been past off as the flu or something. There might have been bleeding, but she's a 14 year old girl; bleeding isn't exactly cause for concern.

Yes. MIRACLE! *facepalm* So I was just thinking... maybe she was lying? I suppose it's possible that she fudged the date that she got pregnant to cover up the fact that she was drinking while pregnant, so perhaps the baby wasn't premature/that premature. Or maybe she was lying when she said that the baby wasn't breathing. It's one thing to leave a dead baby, another to leave one alive, and maybe she didn't want Cuddy or her parents to look at her differently for leaving a healthy, live child for death. And, again, I suppose denial is possible; she didn't want the child to be alive, so she misinterpreted a quiet baby for a dead one or something. I don't know; it would have been nice to see these issues fleshed out more.
