swatkatAnd I can't resist it any more. So here goes.
1. Nikita did not 'betray' Michael. Get over it.
2. Michael is not perfect (although he does look that way). He is allowed to be angry, jealous, ambitious, vindictive – and that does not always have to do with Section's treatment of Nikita/Adam/Elena. He is also allowed to be selfish.
3.A large number of fans don't like FLYF because they can't accept the idea that Nikita was actually capable of performing a covert mission without spilling the beans to Michael.
4. Season 4 would have been more interesting if Michael and Nikita had actually hit back, really tried to usurp Paul and Madeline from their positions instead of playing the hapless victims who 'just wanted to be together'.
5. All arguments about 'Nikita didn't deserve Michael's love' (Really? So who did? Mary Sue, perhaps?), or vice-versa, make no sense.
6. Weddings and children don't really go with Section – even if it's a post S5 story and 'Evil!Ops and Maddy' are out of the way.
7. You can not call yourself a HR and then declare that you hate Nikita (or worse, you hate Nikita for what she did to Michael).
8. Paul and Madeline are not dead.
9. Michael has been in Section for too long to have a 'normal' life outside.
10. No WMS is better than bad WMS, or pointless WMS. A few NC-17 chapters do not make a good story.
And a bonus one:
11. Mr. Jones (a.k.a. Daddy) is a #@%$@$% $#!%*~@.
And because I'm still not done:
1. Remus is not tall, dark, handsome TEH HAWT guy. Deal with it. Ditto with Sirius.
2. Remus is also a man. Most slash writers forget that.
3. Malfoy isn't good at heart.
4. There is no such thing called a 'cool' ship. Ships aren't cool.
5. Ship-wars are stupid.
6. Some characters just can't be slashed.
7. Not all random pairings work.
8. Sirius' own recklessness was one of the reasons behind his death.
9. Voldemort doesn't love anyone. Neither does Tom Riddle.
10. Hermione doesn't like make-up. Really.
