Organizing is *hard*.

I don't know why I always get talked into these things. There all these people with a bunch of nifty ideas and pretty words, *luring* you in. And then there's the dirty work, the Getting Things Done part where you have to run about, talk to fifty people and manage *all* their temper tantrums while *also* managing your own temper.

A film festival focusing on South Asian cinema. It's not like I'm the only person organizing, far from it, and everyone else is doing almost as much work, if not more. But somehow, the managing people and their temper tantrums, and calling up your co-organizers and reminding them about the stuff they have to do (and making sure they've done it) ends up on me.

It's a lovely film fest, though. We just watched Wong Kar Wai's My Blueberry Nights, and will be following up with more of his stuff. We had the Indian Panorama yesterday, which was also equally lovely.
