donnaimmaculata. Please note that 'in progress' actually means 'haphazardly saved in randomly named files which she opens and stares vacantly at every now and then, and updates at the rate of about one word a month'.
Not necessarily the favourite sentences, just the things that caught my attention first.
If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s)...

Neville doesn't like attending these meetings, these pointless bickering sessions where powerful wizards gather to decide the future of the Wizarding World, each pushing forward their own limited and mostly archaic point of view, and none willing to accede, ever.

She won't think of Harry, won't think of the stilted conversations that they have when she tries to talk of anything but Voldemort –
("You should get some sleep."
"I figured we could do with an extra watch."
"Right.")
- or the cold, hard glint that appears in his eyes at times, times when even Malfoy doesn't argue and quietly backs away.

It’s almost midnight when he finally reaches home running, panting, cursing himself for losing track of time. Again.

Date: 2004-11-06 09:42 am (UTC)Whether I manage to do it properly or not (when I manage to finish it, that is), Jurgen-Michael interaction is something that I definitely enjoy. Bruce Payne's acting did annoy me, but I still think of Jurgen as a very interesting character.
