Catching up. Have not written a word of term paper(s). Oops?

* Not exactly the best episode of the season, but my god. How cute are House and Wilson?

WILSON: Things need to go back to normal... and what can be more normal than me screwing with you and you figuring it out?

HOUSE: You manipulative bitch.

I think that's more I LOVE YOU than the 'I love you.' And the eating together and laughing in the end, like in the S1 Christmas episode, awwwwww. I wuv them and will ship them forever and ever.

* Aww, Cameron. I *knew* you were over House (although no one who knows House is really over House, if you know what I mean). Aww.

* Very corny proposal, though.

* But they went and told Cuddy first? I really don't understand these people and their screwed up priorities sometimes. *shakes head*

* And will Chase now wash his hair?

* Enough with the territory marking, Cuddy. V. interesting Cuddy/Cameron dynamic in the 'are you in love with House' scene, especially in the context of their relationship this season. 'You're not concerned about me' = part truth; part Cameron deflecting Cuddy by hitting her where she's weak.

* Love her top. I have missed Cuddy in pink.

* Loved Foreman's concern in the LP scene. And that he thinks Thirteen and Taub aren't enough help when it comes to standing up to House. Ducklings forever!

* House is intrigued by Cuddy's questioning. I am intrigued by this. I wrote after watching 5.19,

But that said, it *does* have to do with Cuddy, and the fact that she has almost entirely withdrawn from her 'I-am-interested-in-you' position post-5.10. In 5.11, House tried baiting her repeatedly, to no avail. Afterwards, it has been all about Rachel, and despite her confusion about what she wants in 'Unfaithful' (which House does not know about, and believes that she did not want him in her house; he's also probably very confused about why the desk did not elicit any response), House has been frustrated and in the dark about her intentions. 'Why do you care if I'm happy?' he asked her in 'The Softer Side'. And I wanted her to reply, 'I can't believe you're asking me this after everything we've been through,' but that's not the answer he wanted, is it? Because House has been trying to make a point all throughout the season, through his secret cheerleader past in 5.03, through the desk in 5.10 and the 'Merry Christmas' in 5.11, through the mature punching-bag stance that he took in 5.14, that while he has better friends than he deserves, he is capable of caring for people and doing epic things for them. And it's frustrating, because while Cuddy did get the other point he tried to get across ('I'm an asshole, don't expect too many things from me'), she—in spite of her eternal optimism and her faith that House can do better, which, no matter what he claims, he desperately needs, as he showed us in 5.14—has not seen it, does not even believe it is possible.

Her interest raised his hopes, perhaps? Hmm.

* Loved House playing the demented cupid with Chase and Cameron, reminding me of his earlier role with Foreman and Thirteen. Also interesting parallels with House/Cuddy, Chase/Cameron and Foreman/Thirteen.

* AMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
