Random LFN Fanfic observation of the day: HR authors do such a lovely job portraying the inner conflicts of Michael and Nikita. But what about Paul and Madeline? Do they not have conflicts of their own? Are they just as confident and cocksure as they always appear, even to themselves? Does Maddy pick her decisions out of a hat? I'd like to read a story that shows this, please.

As far as Paul and Madeline's inner thoughts - I think that depends on the interest and abilities of the author. It's too easy to rely on what TPTB did with the characters in the latter part of LFN, and relegate them to cardboard cutout bad guys, the Sex Police, the collective Man just trying to keep Michael and Nikita down, etc.
