I feel intelligent today

+ I was going to be all worked up about the monstrous seductress plotline, but seriously, the episode does not merit an intelligent/angry response.

+ But it was funny.

+ Although I'm not sure why this is a two-parter?

+ Sarah Parish owned the role. And the fact she's very, very powerful is slightly better than 'DUMB TROLL LOL'.

+ LOL UTHER. Tony Head's dopey faces are pure love. And I may have wibbled a bit when he said he was still heartbroken over Igraine and that Arthur and Morgana had indeed been great comfort to him. He's very lonely, indeed.

+ LOL PENDRAGON FAMILY DINNER. Arthur's nauseated faces and Morgana's knowing, amused smiles kind of made the episode for me.

+ LOL Arthur threatening to feed Merlin to the dogs.

+ WHERE WERE THE GIRLS IN THIS EPISODE WHERE?

+ I like to think they're going somewhere with the Merlin/Gaius bonding and Merlin feeling overworked.

+ HIT IT WITH A CLUB, MERLIN. HARRY, RON AND HERMIONE MANAGED WHEN THEY WERE ELEVEN.

+ People go on about season one as though it was good.
