There is a ghost inside my television...

You know, those little buttons that they have on the television for volume control and stuff? They have disappeared. Fell off. Inside the damn thing. And the remote control has gone crazy, so the only button working is the volume up one. And as soon as you let go of the button, the volume automatically comes back down to zero. And nothing else works, so we're stuck in the damn soap opera channel ALL DAY.

Ghost, I tell you.

Today I was reading this Faith-POV fic where Faith thinks things like "desolate wasteland of her body ", and it made me cry. I've got these weird Character Voice Issues, you see. They make me wince and scream and want to hit someone with a dictionary everytime I see something like that, because WHERE, OH WHERE does it say that you have to write in romance novel language to make a situation *romantic*?

Ahem.

I should go to bed.

LOL! Sounds more like a troll than a ghost. Don't you have a little flap thing on your TV somewhere that you can open and change channels manually? I know, "man-ual-ly"?!? Weird concept, huh?

No! The old TV had it - this is a fancy new one that doesn't have such things. The buttons on the TV were the only way we could change channels manually! *headdesk*
