Thanks for those links about Kalinda. I was also very uncomfortable with those scenes and while I agree with sophia_gratia about the complexity of the situation and the way the "staying in Chicago" line felt, I also have the nasty feeling that the direction and music is playing up to "violent is sexy" aspects of the storyline and that's really nasty. Even if the actors are doing a lot with the work, it's nasty.

OMG how is there not a Warehouse 13/Avengers crossover via SHIELD? Mrs F would have Nick Fury saying "Yes Ma'am," in five seconds flat.
