I was OUTRAGED by the lack of Beifong, and I was going to start an epetition, a Tumblr signal boost and a Kickstarter to fund an unauthorised Beifong-centric spin-off.
But then it was pointed out that if Mako is in the police, she'll certainly be about. And Grey DeLisle hinted that she was playing a young Beifong. Or at least, that she was playing a younger version of a character we know, and Beifong is the most likely candidate.
I hope so! They did mention that Lin won't be a big part of Book 2, but surely the character WHO STOLE THE SHOW COMPLETELY in series one will have her share of awesome appearances in Book 2 as well.
