I'm just home from watching RotS. It was surprisingly enjoyable. *g*

Apart from the endless droid wars and the still very boring Anakin/Padme scenes, it was quite enjoyable. Hayden Christiansen was quite believable as a good man taking stupid decisions out of desperation and becoming the thing he was supposed to destroy. Obi-Wan was as cool as ever. I was disappointed with Padme's role in the movie, what with all the crying and dying because she had no will left to live… *shakes head*

Palpatine was also excellent – particularly the bits where he tempts Anakin with what he knows Anakin wants, and the scarring.

The slaughtering of the Jedi was horrible. Which, in this case, is a good thing.

The lizard! So cute! Can I have one of my own?

I was insanely happy when they played the Leia theme, because Princess Leia is the awesome. *g* (Han/Leia OTP)

DARTH VADER!

I would probably have liked it even if it was a terrible movie, because it's the last Star Wars movie ever, but it's quite watchable, actually. I'm a bit disappointed that Padme/Anakin didn't work for me – it's such an important part in the story, after all. And aw, Obi-Wan will be talking to ghost!Qui-Gon. I think I'm going to go read some Q/O slash now (and maybe some Obi-Wan/Darth Maul. shut up). And some original trilogy gen.

I need a Yoda icon, but meanwhile, this one will have to do. *g*

I loved the movie too, more than any of the other prequels. It really moved me actually. I had a long long LONG discussion with my entire family after seeing it :)
