swatkatThey'll finally be airing AtS S5. I'm glad, because now I can watch them at ease instead of insane back-to-back viewing sessions in grainy tapes. I'm not sure what caused the delay – they usually aired a new season in May. But then, this is the network that has been airing all the new shows, and I've seen it all anyway, so yeah, not complaining. Maybe they wanted the new season to coincide with their new shows.
Not sure if I can watch NFA without crying, though.

Walk On By
Obviously, I like this episode. I like that Nikita's mother cares enough for her to do all this for her, that Nikita – always starved for affection (she's like Birkoff in this, really. she only hides it better than he does) – got to know that her mother cared, still cares. I like Michael, and how he's there for her when she needs him most. The way he looks when she tells him what the problem is, like he's so damn sorry and of *course* he'll help her, and how amazing is it that she'd trust him with this? And the way he stares at the wall with all of Roberta's newspaper clips and Nikita's pictures? And the way Nikita throws him off-balance with the kiss? Gah.
I love Nikita in this ep. There's that scene in her apartment where she sits down, thinking – it underlines just how *alone* she really is, and it breaks my heart. And in the end, with the kiss? It's like she's daring him – yes, I mean it, now let's see what you do with *that*. (then she went home thinking "OMG I can't believe I *did* that". and then cried some more for her mother, and herself)
Walter mostly annoys me in this season (I was reading a book when he was romancing his lost love who's really a section operative), but I love it that he can still make Nikita smile. She needs to do that more often.
"Set her free", Michael told Roberta. That's true on so many levels. *sigh*
I love how Paul never actually walks out of Madeline's office – he jogs. *g*
BtVS S3
Faith, Faith, Faith, you idiot. Of *course* you care. And you don't repay the person who's been the nicest to you and will probably understand you most by framing her for murder. I've seen people in the Faith-centric parts of the Buffy fandom complaining about how mean Buffy was to Faith. Which show were they watching?
I love Buffy.
Poor w00bie Wesley. He really did want to help. He just has no idea how to.
Poor Xander. Faith would certainly have killed him - I don't think she was very sane at that point.
My love for Giles grows with every passing day. *g*
OMGslash! How do they manage to do it so well? *is speechless*
Faith and the Mayor? Yikes. And so very sad for Faith.
Vamp!Willow is simply awesome. Only Willow would go and hug her evil vampire double.
