The Buffy S6 rewatch with Sister has been going surprisingly well so far, considering all the signs she's shown of becoming That Kind of Spike Fan. She was horrified with the forced resurrection/breaks out of her coffin thing and said that she felt very sorry for Buffy, which is always A Good Thing. We'll see what happens when the Buffy/Spike storyline develops a bit more, but right now she's way too traumatised by Giles' departure ("How can Giles LEAVE?") and the Willow storyline to pay much attention to anything else, lol!
Desperate Housewives continues to be the best show ever. Lice politics? Bwahahaha! And ohmygod
jaybee65, how can people *not* write Edie/Susan? After the bonding over drinks and gossip? And the breaking into Paul's house? *flails*

Now seems to be a good time to do that 'five things you may not know about me' meme that had gotten so popular a while ago, so, without further ado:
1. I was almost kidnapped by monkeys once.
2. As a child, I was afraid of water. Like, *really* afraid of water. To the point where I would 'rescue' toy boats, toy ducks etc from buckets/bathtubs, and periodically check on whether anything was drowning in the bathroom. Once, on a vacation, when my uncle caught some shiny little fish in a bottle for my amusement, I was convinced that they were GOING TO DROWN OMG! This was cured after I joined the swimming club.
3. I am somewhat ambidextrous. Somewhat, because while I write and hold a racket with my left hand, I can bat (in cricket), or throw things only with my right hand. I can't even grip the pen properly with my right hand.
4. A favourite childhood ambition was to live in Africa (in my imagination this was a huge bungalow in a foresty place beside a 'tribal' village, somewhat like in that Jules Verne book where the characters travel Africa in a balloon) with two pet lions.
5. Seeing the Ben Kingsley version of Twelfth Night convinced me that Olivia and Viola were Made For Each Other, long before I knew what slash was. So really, Shakespeare made me a slasher.
