I'm about to leave for a family picnic. By the river, at the Botanical Gardens. To be attended by all (most) the extended family. This could be an excellent thing, and just what I need after the week I've had (and going to have). Or, this could be awful and maybe I should just spend all day curled up in bed instead. *sigh*

Family wasn't too bad. Rivers are calming; cousins are fun - apart from one little Dad tantrum (which firmly convinced me of the necessity of taking him to some stress management experts. NOW), it was a good day, and I'm pleasantly achey all over from all the running about. *g*

I found it and friended it -- I have been wanting something like this comm for SOOOOOOO long! Too bad they don't link to on-topic meta, too. If they did, it would be a thing of perfection -- but even without, it's a great resource.

A picnic sounds nice, actually. I'm stuck at home this afternoon waiting for the airline to deliver my luggage which they lost somewhere along the way during my nineteen-hour cross-country ordeal yesterday. *Sigh*

Amazingly enough, they delivered it right when they said they would, and had even called ahead to make sure I was home. Which is a relief because I really didn't want to have to replace *three* of my nicest suits. Or the shoes!
