+ For the three people who will understand this -> I absolutely *love* the title track of Omkara. And the promos are making me squee. A lot.

+ I'm extremely relieved by the fact that the Cuddy must've slept her way to her job poster at TWoP hates Cameron as well. Now I have even greater excuse to argue with her (not that I needed any).

+ The real reason why oulangi's reviews have created such a stir is because she has overstepped that unspoken fandom law: thou shalt not post less-than-stellar reviews in public. She has, in short, done what a lot of us have always wanted to do but never will. God knows I've wanted to write FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE DON'T READ THESE STORIES re. certain very popular House/Cuddy stories out there that get recced everytime someone looks for fic in that pairing (hihoplastic will know what I'm talking about). But I also know I never will write them, because it's just... not 'nice'. *does not touch the Cult of the Nice issue with a ten-foot pole* Even though I *have* mocked badfic in public.

oulangi, she's like House in a way? *g*

+ I'm so tired.

+ Am I the only person who gets a heart attack if the phone rings late in the night? Or early in the morning? It got disconnected only after one ring, thank God.

I LOVE them. The ones I've heard, that is. I can't stop listening to the title track. And the item number - Beedi jalaile (IIRC) is smokin', although it's not the same without the visuals.

It's a toss-up for me -- some of the worst, life-changing phone calls I've ever received have come in the middle of the day, but late night calls are very disorienting even so.

I work on the west coast of the US, but many of my colleagues are on the east coast, which is a three hour time difference, so I frequently get work calls from people who can't figure out the time change (she says with teeth clenched). I guess I assume that early morning calls are from overzealous colleagues rather than the "OMG, what's wrong" vibe from the middle of the night.

That is, when I am thinking about it at all, since I'm usually trying to wake up enough to actually speak into the phone.

and now i go off to read more of the twop insanity... but not before i beg you please, please write some fanfiction. i'm going through withdrawls over here. seriously. there's twitching involved.

oulangi is a HP fan who has been posting reviews of all the Snape/Harry fics posted in the sshp_prophet, the newsletter for that ship. Some of her reviews are nice, some less than flattering (you could see them for yourself on her LJ). A lot of people like it. A lot of people don't. There is much talk. And of course, wank (http://www.journalfen.net/community/fandom_wank/970697.html). *g*
