I don't want to study. I want to sleep.

Also, re. feedback: 'This actually wasn't that bad.' Is this a compliment?

It depends on the reviewer. They may have meant well, and just not realize how they put it and what it sounds like; or it was an insult... I dunno. People are confusing sometimes.

I do think the reviewer meant well. I was a bit taken aback by it. And then I found it extremely amusing, so I thought I would share.

Yes, I have a weird sense of humour.

that's just rude. I agree the responder may not have *intended* to sound rude, but that's how it reads. Personally (knowing I'm a bitch) I'd call them on it: you can respond by saying "thanks?" and hopefully they'll clarify.

Re: feedback-- Ha! People can be such peaches. It most likely wasn't meant to be rude but it definitely comes off that way. . .

I've also noticed you get a lot of ff.net type- "write more" and "sequel, please" feedback which seems so weird to me on LJ.

Hee. I know. I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant to be rude - it was just weird. I was taken aback for a moment. Then I found it somewhat amusing.

And yes, I'm not sure why that happens. Maybe it's the fandom? I don't know. *scratches head*

I'm all about napping lately, you could give that a try. Makes it much easier to deal with staying up late working if you had a little nap after lunch.

As far as that piece of feedback goes, without knowing the commenter I'm just guessing, but either they're really clueless about English, or they're pretentious. You pick.

I don't know where all the time goes. I need to find more time to sleep. :(

I'm pretty sure the commenter didn't mean to be rude (typical ff.net commenter, I guess) - I just found it extremely amusing. *g*

Maybe it was a pairing/scenario that they don't usually like, but they read it anyway, and discovered that actually they quite liked it?

But yeah, it's a bit rude, even if it was unintentional!

I think that's what the commenter meant. I did not actually find it offensive, but somewhat amusing, which is why I thought I would share. *g*

*snorts* I love the tact some people have... it's truly inspiring.

But speaking of feedback, and my utter LACK of, I really apologize because GAH I loved your fic so much, as I love ALL your fics, and HI in chracter ot3 and basically my life doesn't get any better. So, hopefully at some point I'll write you a much deserved coherent review.

I'm totally understand your predicament. Sleep > study and yet, in a fit of cosmic injustice, not.

-

Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on the last few episodes? I still, not for lack of trying, have not been able to shake my 'House is an evil bastard. Cuddy is mine. Le Fin.' way of looking at things. Which is the polite way of saying my shipper's on her death bed with vasculitis. or is it lupus? Or is that a good thing?

Hee. I found the comment extremely amusing, as well, which is why I thought I'd sure. :D And thank you - I'm glad you liked it.

-

Sleep is SO MUCH greater than study. *sigh*

My shipper lives on. My shipper will always live on. I'm irritated with the Tritter arc, because while I didn't want things to change on the show, what exactly was the point to it? It pushed everyone to a breaking point yes, there was a lot of drama yes, but NO CHANGE whatsoever? Nothing? It feels like the writers were dicking around with us for no reason. I still don't know what to think of the addiction plotline - maybe I'll figure it out some day.

But the shipper? Lives on, as I said. Because my shipping is more along the lines of 'House is an evil bastard. And a w00bie. And also an evil bastard who hurts everyone who loves him. House+Wilson and/or Cuddy = OTP! And did I mention I love House?' The most amazing aspect of both the ships for me is that no matter what House does, they keep coming back to him. That's love, people.

I want my shipper back. I miss the squeeing. I miss interpreting everything as a various kind of !sex. And it makes me sad, 'cause everyone's all sfjdksofek!snow!sex!returnofthefunbagscomments! and I'm like...so, can I beat you with your cane now? pretty plz? I don't know. I mean, I never *really* watched this show for House in the first place, I've always been like mmmcuddylisatasty, but at least before (translation: season one) I thought he was obnoxiously funny and witty and entertaining and I'd laugh and go, wow you're a bastard; I love you. I just can't make myself do that anymore. And so every time they *do* give into him, or come back to him rather than having the (preferable) eeeeeLOVE! response, I have the, Oh, for the love of--*headdesk* reaction. TIS SUCK.

I'm currently trying to convince myself to blame the writers. Specifically David Foster and Leonard Dick because (respectively) please, please don't write Cuddy. Ever. Really. and HI have you not seen ANY law/court TV shows EVER in all of your existence? Not EVER? Well, it shows.

(Oh, and I saw the TV-Guide one-liner spoiler for next week's episode. And I dread.)

I watched for House. I stayed for everyone. I am in fandom for Cuddy. This makes life in fandom amazingly simple. So yes, I still love House - there isn't anything he could do that would stop me from loving him. He's a mean evil bastard, and I want to HIT people who say that he has never done anything to hurt Cuddy or Wilson (wait, WHAT?), and then HIT House with HIS cane. He doesn't deserve his friends. Except when he does, because where would he be without them? Poor darling.

Do I want to know what the spoiler is?

I want to love him. I desperately do. I guess I should cut him some slack. Between the failed ketamine and Wilson (and Cuddy)'s random power-plays, Vogler Tritter's vendetta... yeah. I should be nicer to him. And just not watch Finding Judas. Ever.

I don't know... it's definitely got cringe factor. And it involves Valentine's Day, which never bodes well. I'm mostly worried because, with my current rut of distaste for House, this might make it worse. And I don't want it to get worse. It's a new writer, so I've got no way to try and judge by that... I guess, if it plays out like Forever, then my shipper may have a revival. If it goes the way of All In, I might have to cry.

I think the only way that could be construed as a compliment is if it was preceded by 'I always hate this pairing/character/scenario but' - and even then, it would be a fairly dodgy one. Compliments that express surprise very rarely do the job. *sympathises with your weird feedback dilemma*

Hope you get some sleep - it actually aids studying you know, because most retaining of knowledge happens when you're asleep. Seriously, I saw it on a sciencey show once, it must be true.

And yes. I'll go get some sleep today (did not manage that yesterday). I must. *resolves*
