I make it a point not to talk politics or religion on the net. But do read this post by pogrebin where she talks about the political situation in our country. If you're interested in that kind of thing, that is. There is also a post by me down there somewhere where I talk about my own cynical take on the situation.

Living in the US, (and on the left-hand coast as well), I only see the political change in India from far away -- I appreciate hearing someone who is in the midst of the situation.

I liked the comment about patriotism and nationalism very much. I'll have to mull that over for awhile.
