Last night, over at my aunt's place, a friend of hers asked me in the course of conversation why my parents had sent me to a 'school' so far away (in New Delhi, that is). I explained to her that my 'school' is a university, where I'm currently hoping to obtain a master's degree, and that they 'sent' me there because it's a rather nice place to be in. She was embarassed. Granted, I was hanging out with my baby cousins and discussing... something and generally having fun, but I don't think I look that young (they're tiny!).

Also, why do people keep spamming this post about little old ladies stealing marigold plants from our yard in 2005?

ETA: Did I mention the cuddy_fest? Four more days for prompting, people. ijemanja tells me there are 237 prompts so far (guess how many I submitted? *g*), but we could always do with more. I'm actually surprised at the low number of House/Cuddy prompts. People *do* want more pairings. Chase/Cuddy is clearly a sekrit kink that many people share with me. And so many cross-overs and slash prompts!

if it's a friend of your aunt, and she hasn't seen you in a while? she simply might have forgotten your advanced years. *g* it's easy to do - I"m always having to count back on my fingers to figure out my brothers' kids ages (I have 4 nieces and nephews from my brothers) and god HELP me with my husband's siblings' kids (4 more, both boys and girls).

I've never met her before. I do know what you mean, though - it's weird, meeting the cousins everytime and the kids are taller. *g*
