So, about that HIMYM S3 marathon: Okay, I realise that Ted proposing to Stella is a huge cliffhanger and she's probably not the mother, which is sad, because I like her, but all I can think of is OMG BARNEY AND ROBIN!!!! BARNEY LOVES ROBIN! BARNEY LOOOOOVES ROBIN! *melts in a puddle of mush*

Barney/Robin are totally my OTP, man. I haven't been as shippy as I am about them since, oh, early TWW Josh/Donna, where I just really really really wanted them to get together, and then in HIMYM it slowly, slowly seemed like there was a chance they might actually go there, and then they did! And BARNEY LOVES ROBIN! And HIMYM fic is great! EVERYTHING IS GREAT ABOUT THIS SHOW.

BROTP FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST, I CAN'T EVEN... !!!!!

You know, I went from "hey, it would be cute, but Barney isn't likely to fall for a *girl* anytime soon", to "okay, they are kind of Made for Each Other", to "OMG THEY NEED TO GET TOGETHER RIGHT NOW". And maybe it's just me, because I was looking (I knew), but they slooowly built Barney/Robin up with every episode in S3. And "Sandcastles in the Sand", EEEEE! And now he LOVES her, and I'm sure she'll get there too, and it's gonna be LEGEN - wait for it - DARY! That's right, LEGENDARY!

It's funny you watched the HIMYM and House finales together. And great, because only something as awesome as this finale could've helped to cope with the House finale (I still can't bring myself to watch it again. *weeps*). There are bus crashes and bus crashes, you know?

Oh, and BARNEY'S BLOG! I nearly died when he opened the computer and the Doogie Howser music started playing in the background. This show is AWESOME!

MADE FOR EACH OTHER, I know! And they TOTALLY built it up - I don't know how far ahead they planned it (although, it's HIMYM writers - bet they planned it), but just the little looks they gave one another all season were awesome. winter_baby does amazing picspams (http://winter-baby.livejournal.com/tag/fd:+picspam:+tv:+himym) centering on Barney/Robin - it was really fun to follow along the season as she analyzed every single look, and seriously, before HIMYM I did not get picspams, but now I do.

Also, while the Doogie Howser moment was one of the best things in the history of ever, I was actually referring to Barney's official blog (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/how_i_met_your_mother/community/blog/). Now, if you haven't read it, I know you're going to be skeptical - what, the creators of the show are writing some dumb faux-Barney blog? - but dude, this blog is Barney. Like, this is actually what Barney's blog looks like - it makes so much sense! It's got theories! And diagrams! And it pretty much rocks. It's basically a tag for each episode - kind of like official fanfic? - and the older entries are archived here (http://www.legen-waitforit.com/barney/).
