I spent a significant amount of time on Christmas eve ensuring my best friend doesn't drunkenly throw himself off a cliff. Literally.

It was actually hilarious. *g* I was dragging back to his room after a few drinks too many, while he drunkenly waxed poetic about my awesomeness. After which he demanded he wanted to sit, because he was dizzy. But not just anywhere, he wanted to sit on the bloody rocks. I humoured him. Further hilarity ensued until he threw up, and then I half-carried him back to his room. *facepalm*

That's what he said, too. Meanwhile, it really does make a great story. For instance, I saw the fog grow thicker around us by the minute! It was beautiful. And while he lay on the rocks trying to throw up, I spent most of the time worrying whether we would be ambushed by a friendly neighbourhood peacock.
