1. BSG is coming back! Okay, so 4.0 was choppy and occasionally bizarre, too much plot (not enough good plot), too much Baltar's Sex Cult (not enough good Baltar interactions with other awesome characters, like 'The Hub'), a lot of insanity and not enough answers... BUT. My show is coming baaaack!

2. I only have very brief thoughts on the webisodes:
a. Gaeta is bi. This is news, because I thought he was gay.

b. But Baltar/Gaeta is now canon, right?

c. More Eight. A Eight plot is brewing, I'm telling you. It's gonna be BIG.

d. Saul Tigh in charge of CIC! Does that mean Bill and Tigh have made up? I WANT TO KNOW! OMG.

e. Gaeta is probably gonna die.

f. Gaeta is not the Final Cylon. Ellen Tigh? Zak Adama? Kendra Shaw?


3. And okay. Fine. So I saw the first episode of Merlin. It's... very Harry Potter meets King Arthur, with added cheesy SFX and dragon.

But seriously, flist, if you wanted me to see the show, all you had to do was tell me about Gwen and Morgana. And maybe posted a couple of Uther Pendragon picspams (ASH = ♥♥♥).

4. Rewatching House 4.11 with A. last night, the baby plotline doesn't get any more believable on rewatch. What, she just walked out of class and gave birth and came right back afterwards, and no one noticed? 'Excuse me, ma'am, but I have to go give premature birth to miracle baby Jesus now'. Yes, Christmas miracle etc., but the writers were on some special crack with that (BUT THEY GAVE CUDDY HER BABY SO THAT'S ALRIGHT. SHUT UP, FANDOM).

Wheee, Merlin! It's a ridiculous, cheesy show, but the fic potential is so limitless, and I don't just mean on the Merlin/Arthur front. Gwen and Morgana are properly slashy, which is probably hinted at in the first ep, but not as much as it is later on, and they are quite adorable and awesome.

ASH kicks everyone's ass, too, though I totally have a pathetic soft spot for Arthur (who gets better. Much better. I swear.)

It's very cheesy. As of now, Arthur is very Draco Malfoy. I watched the episode and thought, wow, no wonder the H/D slashers are having fun with it!

Gwen and Morgana are properly slashy, which is probably hinted at in the first ep, but not as much as it is later on, and they are quite adorable and awesome.

I approve of this. (And, um, is it wrong that I saw Uther/Morgana in that brief little scene? IT'S ASH'S FAULT! HE HAS RIDICULOUS CHEMISTRY WITH YOUNGER CO-STARS!)

No, it's definitely there! Half the time they are father/daughter-ish, but the other half of the time they are so very married. They're my favourite het ship on the show, even though Gwen/Arthur should be, what with Arthur being awesome + Gwen being hot like woah + Gwen/Arthur being future canon.

I am! The flist has been going on and on about the slash, which is there, of course, but that's not MY magic word, lol! (And it never occured to anyone to mention the girlslash.)

So I have things to look forward to! So far, Gwen is kinda awesome and Arthur is a prick, but I guess I have give them some more time.

That's nearly exactly what happened with me. I wasn't paying attention at all, and then one post mentioned Merlin having both ASH and girlslash potential. Mind you, I'm generally all for boyslash, but first a show has to get me interested enough to watch, and the promise of random boys just doesn't do it.

I *still* feel vaguely guilty about my very secret love for Buffy/Giles.

*glare* As you should. Giles/Anya is the One True Giles Pairing!
