Various disjointed thoughts on the last three BSG episodes.

1. What happened to Roslin? It's because of Hera, right? She has Hera's blood and that explains it, doesn't it? DON'T TELL ME THEY KILLED LAURA ROSLIN LIKE THAT?

2. 'Deadlock' is a bizarre episode. More awesome!Ellen and less baby drama, please.

3. Poor Caprica Six. But I didn't really get the 'love' of Saul and Caprica, really. I understand that a lot of things have been happening offscreen, but really, I didn't get it.

4. What is it with Caprica Six and threesomes?

5. Who is the Six in charge now? I like her.

6. Boomer! I heart you! Stop making yourself miserable by taking the stupidest decisions ever!

7. Bill/Galactica OTP! ♥♥♥

8. Bill/Saul OTP!!!! ♥♥♥ (Also, how much do you love that both Ellen and Bill are jealous of each other?????)

9. Sam is talking hybrid now!

10. I love, love, love Kara's storyline in the last episode.

11. Helo *still* can't differentiate between two Eights. This is... troubling. To say the least.

12. I love how incestuous the Cylons are.

13. Tyrol/Boomer breaks my heart. But Chief, you raised Nicky. Have you considered sparing a thought for that poor boy while you weep over your imaginary children?

14. 'No Exit' made me jump and squee. Because really, frak the humans. I love me some Cylon backstory, and this was like 'Downloaded' all over again.

15. It *hurts* to see Galactica falling apart. That said, Bill's decision to allow the Cylon thingy inside Galactica = using Hera's blood to save Roslin's life.


In conclusion: BRAIN. BROKEN.

1. I'm thinking that's the case. She couldn't have known that Boomer was taking Hera. I don't think what was over the speakers in the CIC could have been heard in Adama's quarters, could it? She could sense something was wrong with Hera. SO YES SHE COULD NOT AND WILL NOT HAVE DIED JUST LIKE THAT!

11. And Helo not being able to differentiate between his WIFE and Boomer is just SAD. Don't tell me that even their scars and wounds are the same! EWW.

15. I'm hoping that they would do the same for Roslin as Bill did for Galactica. YES/YES? PLEASE..PRETTY PLEASE

Same here. It's really hard trying to prepare for it. Executing sanity when she actually "dies" is another thing. Urgh.

Thank you. That was and is a HUGE issue for me. What "love".

And for additional squick factor: why is it the FATHER'S love that is important, not the mother's? There's no doubt of Caprica's love for the unborn child. (that's not my original idea, it came off my flist but OMG the icky sticky squicky truth there)

Yes, thank you. Another icky issue I've been having - that the writers apparently considered Nicky disposable and wrote Chief as apparently simply walking away from the child. As if dads are interchangable and the child isn't going to miss his first daddy.

I liked the idea of Caprica/Tigh on paper. But the exposition was not very well done, and I just didn't get the part where Tigh apparently fell in love with her.

Also? I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think they can afford to cut down on the Tigh screentime now. Because I love Tigh and I want more Tigh, but I just don't want him like this, especially when it comes to down to the thing you pointed out: FATHER'S LOVE (and subsequent emo angst) is the really important part. Mother? Who cares?

That's why I found Cavil and Ellen's storyline so fascinating and refreshing. I WANT MOAR CYLONS WITH MOMMY ISSUES! (also am secretly amused that now Lee can discuss his parent issues with Cavil. *ducks tomatoes*)

No question of NOT loving my show. I don't think it's possible at this point. I also cannot believe I'm saying this, but I want more Lee/Kara interaction. The ship part does not excite much interest in me anymore, but I do love their *friendship*. It was *so good* to see Helo&Kara BFF forever again.

Also, also, I want Bill and Kara to interact. When was the last time they had a conversation again?
