Swatkat: Oh, and it says about Buffy/Faith? Didn't you watch the vid with me? (note: she was entranced by this B/F vid, "I had *no* idea!")
Sister: Well...
Swatkat: You see, a good author can make *any* pairing work. Even Hermione and Dumbledore.

It's a good show - darker, more stylish than Buffy, and fatalistic where Buffy is optimistic. And it grows darker with every season (the Lilah arc is in S4, as I mentioned). Good character developments all round (you will not *believe* what Wesley was, and what he became). Clever use of Buffy characters and canon. Continuity! You may or may not be able to get into it, but it's definitely worth a try (or ten). *g*

Seeing that I myself started with S3, and saw S1 and S2 afterwards, I may not be the right person to say this. I'll ask msgenevieve and mommysusan, since they're the original BtVS fans.
